Have an iPhone/iPod app that you want to port to the iPad or want to know the best way to design for the iPad?

The iPad is not just a big iPod Touch and for best results you’ll need to carefully think through your design. In this class you will learned the fundamentals of iPad programming, from converting your existing iPhone application to taking advantage of new features only available on the iPad.

Topics include:

  • Design Considerations for iPad
  • Techniques for Using UI components on iPad
  • iPad specific UI Components
  • Managing Universal and Multiple Applications
  • Using and Designing Gesture Recognizers

This class is best suited for people with some experience programming iPhone OS such as having taken Day 1 Intro Class

Attendees must bring a laptop with the latest iPhone/iOS SDK installed.

Class will run 9:30am - 5pm with a break for lunch at SL Conference Centers at 352 7th Ave (& 30h st) 16th floor.
